The way members are sorted in the guild is by both class and level.
The different ranks of stars indicate a different level range.
The stars are assigned as follows: 1 Star - 50- 2 Star - 50+ 3 Star - 90+
These stars also mean more for how long you can not be online, the 1 star is more likely to be kicked if they're off for over a week than a 2 star would, but in either case if you need to be gone for a while if you're busy or have to go on vacation PM me and the chance to be kicked is zero.
The groups above each of the star ranks represents each's higher level, for one star this is honor roll, 2 star instructor, 3 star Death Scythe. These can be considered that level groups leaders. Recruiting power is given to all ranks above instructor, (including 3 star). However only Death Scythe has the power to kick.
The top two level groups are Shinigami and Death Scythes
They both will fill in for the leader if gone on vacation or something, and both of them have the power to recruit and kick members.
However as Death Scythe, I expect them to be highly active (on 4 times or more times a week) And to be on the forums as frequently as possible. Shouldn't be too hard since I'm not counting or anything.
Appointing of new death scythes will happen as they are needed, however I'd like to have as few as possible. If you fit the requirements and aren't appointed it's probably because there aren't enough members for it to be necessary.
The Shinigami position is only given to one person, and is more simply the vice-leader, I currently hold this position and will do things such as manage the forums.
Losing the position of Death Scythe or shinigami will happen if you aren't on often enough to meet the requirements, however if you're extra busy or are going on vacation PM me and you'll be fine so long as your being busy ends within a reasonable amount of time.
(Death Scythes and Shinigami get a Moderator status on the forum too)

no death scythe is from soul eater. The guild is named after the school in soul eater where the students are trained to use weapons to kill humans who have become evil and to keep demon gods from comming back.
