I have received an OK from Leik0 on this, so I will post the rules and guidelines.
First of all, thank you for taking the time to check this topic out, I hope you all can have some competitive fun while testing your skills!
OFFICIAL SHIBUSEN PVP TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
The level brackets for the PvP Tournament are as follows:
Level 1-50 [Red Pool]
Level 51-90 [Bronze Pool]
Level 91-120 [Silver Pool]
Level 121+ [Gold Pool]
There will be a MAXIMUM of 10 people per group. If there still spaces left, please feel free to invite any one of our allies or personal friends to come participate. We want this tournament to be full of people, even if some of us don't know the others.
The Shibusen-Hosted PvP Tournament will take place in Desert Scream near the Desert Fox mob (Take the right entrance when coming to DS). This allows use of the terrain, making for a more interesting battle. The date and time will be set up by a committee. Remember that the times are EST, not OGPlanet time. This will be held on CH 13, remember that!
The ENTRANCE FEE or the tournament is as follows:
Red Pool- 100K
Bronze Pool- 150K
Silver Pool- 200K
Gold Pool- 225K
All the money will be given to Leik0, so we can purchase the prizes.
The prizes have not been set yet, but I have a good idea about who gets what.
General Etiquette:
-Be polite. Don't be a sore loser or a boastful winner. The last thing we want is to have bickering about what skills people use and whatnot.
- Follow the rules! You will be kicked WITHOUT reimbursement, and DQed from the rest of the tourney.
- Spectators need to keep their distance from the participants.
-Have fun, be helpful, make new friends, run wild, folks! This is gonna be great.
-Also note that this tourney will be FRAP'd and posted on YouTube. When you join, you accept the fact that you will be put on the internet.
PvP RULES
- You may only enter as 1 character.
- I will randomly select the matchups after the spaces have been filled
- No party buffs. Yep, no SP, Spirit Intension, Panic Cry, Mass Restore. None of it. You may still be in parties though ^_^
- You cannot accept buffs from others
- All debuffs are allowed except for Field of Enervation/Excreation, and Mana Freeze.
- You can Fade, Dash, and Blink around. For all you PvPers out there who can't stand that, please don't join. I know I'm gonna do it.
- You will be confined to a specific area of the map. If you step out of the boundary you will have 5 seconds to get back in or you will be DQed.
- Prizes will be distributed to the Champion and Finalist of Each Bracket. Photos will be taken of the top 3.
- The setup of the tourney is like this:
P1 v P2.
P3 v P4.
P5 v P6
P7 v P8.
P9 v P10
---------
Winner of [P1 v P2] v Winner of [P3 v P4]
Winner of [P5 v P6] v Winner of [P7 v P8]
Winner of [P9 v P10] gets a bye.

Then it will be a round robin between
The Winner of [Winner of [P1 v P2] v Winner of [P3 v P4]
The Winner of [Winner of [P5 v P6] v Winner of [P7 v P8]
And the Winner of [P9 v P10]
The top two will then compete after one has been knocked out. The winner will be determine by that match.
Im ok with this. Although I remember you and Rehaniko talking about panic cry. Its not a shout but it is a debuff. Although If I'm right its not a trans debuff, making it legal in the tourney.
