ok, now onto the actual game:

in PSO there are 3 classes and 3 races, plus male or female (it does matter).

Classes:
Hunter: your warrior class, short range, good with swords and partisans

Rangers: probably the easiest class to play cuz you can kill enimies from a distance

Forces: you mage class, can't use armor or shields, but they have a tun of TP (same as mp) and can cure and do massive damg with magic attacks

Races:
Human: all around character
Numar: your elf like character, better in magic
Android: has no TP, cannot be poisond and can see traps (easiest race to play)

Gender:
Male: higher HP and Attack
Female: Higher Accuracy and Defence

ok so PSO is a little weird where only certain classes, races and genders can be mixed, so i will put them all down here:

HUmar: (Hunter, Human, Male)
HUnewearl: (Hunter, Newman, Female)
HUcast: (Hunter, Android, Male)
HUcaseal: (Hunter, Android, Female)

RAmar: (Ranger, Human, Male)
RAmarl: (Ranger, Human, Female)
RAcast: (Ranger, Android, Male)
RAcaseal: (Ranger, Android, Female)

FOmar: (Force, Human, Male) (they look like chicks to me)
FOmarl: (Force, Human, Female)
FOnewm: (Force, Newman, Male)
FOnewearl: (Force, Newman, Female)

one last thing for all the classes is their Section ID (very important). you cannot chose your section id, it is based on your class,race,gender, and how your character looks (you can monkey with hight, weight, hair collor, face, collor of armor and more). Depending on your Section ID different weapons will drop from monsters at different rates and also it will determin your mags evolution a bit (i will talk about later):
VIRDIA: you will find Shot and Partisans mor common, but Slicers very rare
GREENILL: you will find Rifle and Daggers common, but Swords very rare
SKYLY: you will find Sword and Rifles common, but Mechguns very rare
BLUEFULL: you will find Partisans and Rifles common, but Wands very rare
PURPLENUM: you will find Mechguns and Dagers common, but Partisans very rare
PINKAL: you will find Wands and Partisans common, but Rifles very rare
REDRIA: you will find Armor & Shields and Slicers & Shots common, but Daggers very rare
ORAN: you will find Daggers and Swords & Wands common, but Rods very rare
YELLOWBOZE: you will find Metza (money) common
WHITILL: you will find Slicers and Mechguns common, but Shots very rare

and that's about it for making a character.

last but not leas MAGs

Mags are little mechanical creatures that float over your characters sholders that have many different looks (including special ones like sonic floating over your sholder). your Mags are your friends, you can raise multiple of them, but it cost a lot of money because to raise a Mag you have to feed it items (healing items, TP items, Antidoets, any potion like item can be feed to your mag raisin and some times lowering other stats). Mags evolve at different lvl's and depending on what stat of it's is highest it will evolve into different forms. each form has it's own summon and will sometimes give you extra boost if your health is low or even raise you from the dead if you die (not always).

Mags have 6 different stats
Def: this number will give your character the same amount of DFP
Pow: this number x2 is how much ATP the mag gives you character
Dex: this number halved is how much ATA your mag gives your character
Mind: raises your MST by double this amount
IQ: Affects Mag special abillities
Syncro: Affects Mag special abillities

Mags have 2 abilities:
Photon Blast: when your mag evolves (lvl 10, 35, 50) it will learn a new photon blast, photon blas work that the Photon Bar raises ever time you take damage, once it hits 100 you can use your photon blast. depending on what it is it can attack every enimie around you, in a strait ling, a single tarteg, boost your stats for a shot time.

Mag Abilities: (affected by IQ and Syncro) at certain times mags can give you boost (exp: when you enter a boss area, have 10% helth left, or die) they can give you temproary boost to stats, heal you some or revive you when you die.
